Beware poets wearing dark glasses
There once was a poet named Brian
who roared as loud as a lion
he lived in central Florida
with cats and a wife
and always found time for lying
Writers always lie, or at least create a truth meaningful only to them. My name is Brian, I'm 48, I do live in Florida and am very happily married. I consider myself a poet rather than an writer, my coffee table blog is called "My Muse, My Poetry, My Life" while my main blog is titled "Truth Is Freedom". I am also self-published author of "Real Magic", available online through Amazon and have several unfinished drafts floating around for other books. On occasion I write spanking and discipline fiction but mainly I post poetry and short fiction at my blog. My readers tell me I have a gift for bringing characters to life. It has more to do with being a multiple personality. Internal dialog is quite normal for us.
.
If you read the pages at the top of my blog you will discover that I have multiple others living in me. Rose Dewy Knickers has two blogs of her own although she rarely posts now.

Dale Challener Roe, the impetus and vision for Project 2,996, wrote a tribute for Candace Lee Williams who died on Flight 11 when it crashed into the tower where she had worked as an intern.
Please use this link to Remembering The Victims of 9/11: Peoject 2,996 to read all 3,277 tributes. My tribute is number 577 for Gibert Granados.
Text of email I received on November 30, 2009.
Dear Brian,
This is Kathleen Granados, the youngest daughter of Gilbert Granados, whom you wrote such a beautiful tribute to on your blog. Although created in 2006, I had not seen your tribute until a few weeks ago when my mother said "did you see the blog with the tribute to dad?" and proceeded to hand me the tribute, printed out with pages of responses. We are so proud to see such a wonderful piece about him.
I can't quite express to you the depth of thanks I have in my heart for creating something so beautiful in honor of my dad. My father always believed in the good in people, and it is people like you that keep the love and connection strong in this world.
On behalf of my family, especially my mother and sister, thank you. You have brightened our lives with your work!
Warm Wishes,
Kathleen Granados
“The Use of Taxpayer Monies to Bailout Fraudulent Bankers Shall Be Prohibited”
The Citizens assembled of the Republic of the United States of America hereby declare to the Congress of the same that they shall not continue to raid the People’s Treasury to resolve the immoral and illegal practices of lenders and speculators in the Domestic and Foreign Markets. The Moral Hazard of private profits and public losses has resulted in an imbalance in the Treasury creating a deficit that threatens the foundations of this Republic. The duly elected servants of the People have betrayed the trust bestowed upon by the Founding Fathers and signatories of the Constitution of the United States of America by putting financial interests ahead of and to the detriment of the will of The People thereby forfeiting those positions of responsibility. We the signers of this petition strongly protest the fiscal malfeasance of those who have sworn to uphold the laws and protect the interests of The People and call on those individuals who will not cease the illegal raiding of the Treasury to resign forthwith. Those that stand against the tyranny of moneyed interests and with the taxpaying citizens of the Republic are hereby urged to hold fast against the immoral and shameful behavior of those seeking bailouts. We urge all that sign to copy and disseminate this petition as widely as possible throughout the Republic. Together we can restore the People’s interests.
I first came across Spatherdab in January of 2008 and have been an adoring fan ever since. She has her first book out now called "White Shirt".
spatherdab is an obscure, almost forgotten, old english word meaning chatterer, gossip, scandal-monger; “a woman who goes from house to house dispensing news.” since i have spent 30 years as a sports journalist whose pressbox chatter was dispensed house to house (thanks to another obscure, soon-to-be-forgotten entity, the newspaper carrier); and since i intend to use this space for chatter, gossip and scandal-mongering — not to mention rants, poems, scathing observations and anything else that explodes out of my cranium — it seems a more than fitting handle.
